End of Week 4 London/Dublin
In London, a typical weekday began with a tour early in the morning, and ended with dinner on our own with the group. It was a lot of touring and walking and utilizing public transportation. However, it was so worth it to be able to experience all that we did, along with classes, in ten days time.
In Dublin, we go to class for 10AM and remain there until about 1PM. Then, a group of us walk somewhere for lunch and hang out on the green space of Dublin Castle. We then return home using the Dublin Bus system. At UCD some people exercise, rest, read, write, do schoolwork, yoga, or hang out together. Around dinner time, some individuals go back in for dinner while others stay in to cook. I liked to come back and exercise, and then venture back into Dublin for a nice, authentic Irish meal. Some days we travel to nearby cities to explore and learn more about Irish culture. It’s a pretty relaxing comparison to London, but I love it like this. I wouldn’t trade the relaxation and adventure for anything else.
