LSE – Culture Shock
Although there is a decent amount of cultural differences between London and back home I adjusted fairly quickly. Having the same language of course helps immensely since communication never was much of a problem between anyone. The biggest differences that I had to adjust to were more structural in nature than anything else, that is getting around, carrying cash, and adjusting my schedule to fit the city. Coming from California I also had to again get used to unpredictable weather and now carry on umbrella almost every day just in case. I felt a little homesick a few times, whether it was for the beach or proper Mexican food, but that went away the more places I visited and the more things I did!
