Peer to Peer Support

With my time at DTU, I haven’t had much interaction with the support staff. There is an office for international students, but I only visited once when I moved in. While there, I picked up my keys and laundry card for student housing. In my classes, I mainly interact with the TA’s. We have 4 hour classes (except for my one 8 hour digital signal processing class), but some of that time is devoted to working on exercises. During this time, we can ask for help from the TA’s. However, in my embedded system class, the work and help mainly comes from other students.

My most interesting professor teaches my machine learning class. The lecture can run long and cover a lot of material, but it’s clear that the professor really cares about the material. This makes the lecture a lot more interesting. We also have in class polls for some of the questions during the lecture, so this keeps the class more engaging.
