DOC Info Session: Process Safety and Chemical Engineering in Spain

This Dialogue is intended for chemical engineering majors in their late 1st year, 2nd year, or early 3rd year. One course is a curriculum requirement. Thermodynamics 1 abroad. A second course, which counts as the chemical engineering advance elective, is Process Safety abroad. In this Dialog we will visit local chemical plants and complete a hazard analysis of pilot scale chemical processes. This trip offers students the opportunity to learn about the local architecture and Roman heritage in Spain. There is also an opportunity to visit several chemical processing plants to experience engineering in practice. Tarragona and Barcelona are also coastal Mediterranean towns, offering beautiful beaches and lovely dining experiences.
