January 18, 2022
5:00pm 6:00pm

Location: Renaissance Park 909

Come meet students who have been on this Dialogue, students who have applied, and the faculty who are leading it. Beginning in Jerusalem, traveling to the Arava Institute in the desert, and ending in Tel Aviv, on this Dialogue you will study the legal and political structure of the state of Israel and the literature of its peoples. You will visit ancient sites, natural landscapes, holy places, and modern cities. You will meet writers, religious leaders, and legal experts as you explore this multi-cultural and multi-religious society. During a trip to the Arava Institute you will learn about environmental sustainability and peacebuilding. Along the way you will have a chance to float in the Dead Sea, ascend the desert fortress of Masada, tour the ancient city of Acre, and experience Druze hospitality.

Faculty Leads: Lori Lefkovitz, [email protected]; Simon Rabinovitch, [email protected]
