CAMD FACULTY MEMBER JULIA HECHTMAN SELECTED FOR FULBRIGHT AWARD TO ICELAND

The College of Arts Media and Design is pleased to announce faculty member Julia Hechtman, Lecturer in the Department of Art + Design, has been selected for a Fulbright award to Iceland. The Fulbright Program, which aims to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries, is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government. With her award, Hechtman will be researching how a location’s physical landscape influences human identity while teaching classes at the Iceland Academy of the Arts.
