Supporting Your Student
GEO offers many resources to guide your student through the study abroad experience.
Explore the website
This website is a great place to start learning about all of the programs that Northeastern University has to offer.
Stop by the office
Your student may also learn more about study abroad by stopping by the GEO office (403 Cullinane Hall). There, they have the opportunity to meet with a Peer Advisor or Global Experience Advisor, both of whom are reliable sources of information during all stages of the international experience.
Attend an info session
We also offer scheduled information sessions and study abroad fairs – please see GEO’s Events Calendar for more information.
All study abroad locations have been reviewed by GEO staff members to ensure that they are safe and are able to provide support services needed for students. GEO periodically conducts program evaluations for current partners. GEO conducts site visits abroad to explore campuses and ensure that the facilities and housing arrangements are comfortable and safe for our students and meets all health and safety requirements. For more information regarding health and safety while abroad, please refer to the International Travel website.
