Daniel Tamer

I have always wanted to study abroad in Asia since the beginning of college. As a Chinese minor I discovered a passion for Chinese culture and furthered this passion by taking Asian history classes. By taking political science classes at HKU I hope to learn about topics I am interested in through a different perspective. I have always thought that looking at a subject matter through multiple views is the only way to truly understand it. I am excited to live in the vibrant city of Hong Kong and explore nearby countries as well. I am also nervous however to be so far away from home, as I have only been abroad for ten days at a time in the past. I enjoy fitness, sports, poetry, and my favorite band is The Beatles.
