Caroline Boschetto

As an international affairs student, I have made it my goal to take advantage of as many international work and study opportunities as I can though Northeastern. I have already participated in a Dialogue of Civilizations in China and a co-op in Guatemala so I felt that studying abroad now in Rome, a third very unique location, would be a great option. While abroad, I am hoping to gain a new perspective on my field of study through taking classes and to gain a new perspective on myself as well through connecting with part of my heritage. I am most excited about all of the opportunities I will have to travel within Italy on the weekends to fully immerse myself in the nation’s architecture, food, art, and more. I am a bit nervous about navigating the Italian language; however, I have been studying independently this summer so I am excited to see how my work will pay off. A fun fact about me is that I have eaten many interesting foods around the world, including kangaroo, alpaca, crickets, termites, chicken feet, and cow udder!
