My program while on this DOC is Fluid Mechanics Applications in Tasmania. Ever since my sister did a semester in France, I've always wanted to participate in studying abroad in college. To me, it always was a win-win situation where you get to see the world, while still growing and developing yourself academically! In particular, I chose this program because it was tapping into unknown territory for me. I have never been to the southeastern part of the world, and I also do not know many global applications of engineering. Additionally, I love trying new food, experiencing nature, and playing tennis, which are all abundant in Australia. I believe this is exactly what made this program the perfect one for me.
