Brianna McDowell

Oi gente! My name is Brianna McDowell and I will be studying in Portugal this upcoming Fall 2016 semester! Currently a communications major with a minor in Portuguese, I decided that studying in Portugal will help me strengthen my language skills all while earning credit toward my major. I embarked on a Dialogue of Civilizations to Brazil during summer 2015 and loved it so much that I am actually going back this summer! Living in Portugal will be a great way to experience a different Portuguese culture. While abroad I hope to encounter challenges that will not only make me stronger, but increase my independency and broaden my view of the world.
