Hugh Shirley

Global health has always fascinated me and I'm very excited to have the opportunity to study and learn about Kenya's health system and the unique culture and language that influence it. We also get to see an elephant orphanage which sounds totally amazing to me since elephants are my favorite animals. I wanted to study abroad both to get a better understanding of public health, a field that I hope to find a career in after college, and to get out and explore a culture and part of the world that I have never experienced before.
