Street in Tokyo

Shibuya Crosswalk
For our stay in Tokyo, my classmates and I will be housed at Sakura Hotel which is located about 5 minutes away from class. When I first stepped into the room that I shared with 4 other people, I was shocked. The room was the size of a double at Speare hall; there were two bunkbeds and a single provided. Bags were piled up on the floor as we all tried to fit in there. The bathrooms were communal, shared with the rest of the floor, but were kept tidy. All in all, Sakura hotel was very small but one good thing was that they provided free breakfast! For our stay in Nagano, Yamanaka, and Kyoto, we will be staying in larger rooms so that is definitely something to look forward to!
Due to the close quarters of our rooms and how our schedule is planned, everyone in the program has to spend at least half the day together which is always a bonding experience. Everyone on the dialogue is extremely friendly and it is definitely easy to make friends with one another. We travel together, eat together, and live together so we’ll definitely create fun memories on this trip together as well!
