At this point, I haven’t bought any textbooks while at DTU. This really isn’t much different from Northeastern. In my machine learning class, the professor provided his own set of notes that acts as our textbook. In my embedded system class, no book is officially required since the class is based around project work. In my digital signal processing class, I was able to find a pdf of the recommended textbook online.

Tron-like

Over a month of classes has gone by, and it’s given me enough time to notice some major differences between classes here and classes at Northeastern. The majority of our grades (if not all) are determined by one final exam. There are no quiz or homework grades, and only a couple of project grades. Teamwork is a huge thing here, and I am always working with a small group of classmates. There also seems to be less of a hierarchy between professors and students than I have experienced in the U.S.
