Lisbon and the Castle

My favorite class that I am enrolled in is Lisbon: City and Architecture. Every Tuesday our class visits different monuments and landmarks around Portugal. During our field trips we learn the history behind the locations we are visit, as well as, become educated on the style architecture that was used. It’s a great opportunity for me to open my eyes and see Lisbon for something other than just another city and too travel to different locations. Thursdays’ class is shorter than Tuesdays and is spent in the class room. We review what we learned on Tuesday and have a more in-depth conversation. Classes here in Portugal have less homework assignments and quizzes/tests than back in the states. That being said, the tests usually cover more information than they would at Northeastern. For my architecture course, I only had a midterm and final. For my media ecology course, we only have 3 mini quizzes. I would recommend not procrastinating and study early, because it can be a lot of information to study all at once. For majority of the courses, the tests represent a big portion of your grade.
