Housing & Classmates
Whist living in Florence, I’m staying in an apartment provided through LdM housing. It’s a 4 bedroom, 6 person space with 3 bathrooms, and a huge kitchen/living area. It’s actually very impressive compared to what I had expected to receive. There are no elevators in most of these buildings, but that is to be expected since they are all very old. I’m really enjoying the apartment I’m living in, there is a little courtyard outside for that my roommates and I can enjoy al fresco dining, which is a huge part of the Italian culture. Ever since moving in to this apartment, all of my roommates and I have become great friends. We hang out everyday whether that’s doing homework together, or going out to the shops and exploring the city. People in my classes seem to also be very friendly, so I’d say it’s easy to meet other students whether they’re from northeastern or any other university.
