Studies and Perspectives of Chile

Although all of my classes here are very interesting, I would have to say that my class on regional scenarios in Latin America is the most interesting. I enjoy it because we talk about many different but incredibly relevant topics. We learn for example about political situations in LATAM, which is interesting to me because I feel like I have somewhat of a sense about what is going on. The class is very much discussion based which encourages participation and stimulates great conversation. As everyone is from all around the world with very different backgrounds, there are always many perspectives which gives our talks a fascinating dimension.

My favorite place to study is a small cafe in Viña called Fika. Not only does it have great coffee, it’s relatively quiet, close to my house, and has fast and reliable internet. I’ll frequently go there alone or with friends to work on homework, journal, or just read my book.
