My academic goals are still the same; I will continue to pursue my B.S in Economics and Math and I actually am very close to finishing all my economics requirements after this dialogue.

One self-discovery that surprised me was that I realized I am able to be in a completely foreign environment with complete strangers and be able to adjust, meet new people, and make the best of it. I was afraid I would get homesick or would have trouble making friends but it all came so easily.

Studying abroad for the first time has made me want to keep traveling more often because I really do like getting to meet new people of different cultures and backgrounds. The single greatest benefit I found from this experience was how much more independence and self-reliance I gained.  My favorite experience was traveling to different cities like Glasgow and Aberdeen for the day with the whole group and being able to do and seee whatever we wanted there.

I would most definitely study abroad again. I would not mind coming back to the UK and seeing more of it, but I also really have wanted to see Asia and I would definitely feel the culture shock there more than I did here.
