Traveling in Europe

Since being in Denmark, I’ve had a lot of opportunities to travel around Europe. I’ve been to a lot of different countries, and I’ve never felt unsafe in any of them. I don’t think that I’ve learned or used any local traveler secrets. When it comes to being safe, common sense should be enough. I always make sure that I have my passport, some other form of ID, my debit card, and cash. Also, I use my American SIM card in my phone when I travel so I have international data, which is useful for things like google maps and contacting people in case of emergency. Every time I’ve traveled, I’ve used Airbnb. To be safe, I’ve only booked places that have been positively reviewed. Since I’ve visited a lot of big cities, pickpocketing is always something to look out for. However, this hasn’t been an issue for me because I’ve been aware of my surroundings and kept watch on my belongings.
