DOC+: Creative Fabrication Information Session

Interested in learning more about a brand new full-semester Dialogue of Civilizations+ in Milan, Italy for the Spring 2026 semester? Join Professor of Art and Design Paolo Ciuccarelli and Assistant Director for Study Abroad and Exchange Catherine Kareores for an information session on Monday, September 8th from 12:00-1:00pm EST held via Zoom.

This program is a collaboration with the POLIMI, ranked 6th in the world for design. The experience is designed for a student to complete all necessary courses for the concentration in Design and the advanced classes necessary for the minor in Design.  

This program will immerse students in materiality, tooling, and fabrication—creating a dedicated environment for hands-on, production-driven learning at the Politecnico Milano. In addition to access to POLIMI cutting-edge maker spaces, students will be involved in the Milan Design Week. Milan Design Week is one of the most significant events in the design industry since its inception in 1961 and attracts designers, innovators, and a variety of industry sectors from all over the globe.
