“Cultural Humility” is a concept referring to a “lifelong commitment to self-evaluation and critique, to redressing power imbalances…and to developing mutually beneficial and non-paternalistic partnerships with communities on behalf of individuals and defined populations” (Tervalon & Murray-Garcia, 1998, p. 123).
Today, students from Northeastern are engaging in projects at intersection of cultural humility theory and practice. This event offers highlights students engaged in global learning experiences, critical dialogue, and reflection under the central theme of cultural humility informed by our global learning goals.
