The Semester In program offers undergraduate Northeastern students an unparalleled opportunity to take a semester’s worth of classes at any of Northeastern’s global campuses: Oakland, Portland, Seattle, Silicon Valley, London, Ireland, Greece, and starting in 2026, Manhattan! This program provides a semester-long immersive experience where undergraduate students engage in industry site-visits, alumni and networking events, guest lectures, and opportunities for co-op in the region, all while taking Northeastern courses.
The Summer In program is an immersive experience that allows undergraduate students to earn 8 credits towards their major, minor, or concentration, while studying at one of Northeastern’s Global Network campuses during a summer 1 or summer 2 term. This program provides a unique opportunity for students to interact with local industries and participate in cultural engagements and networking opportunities. Participants immerse themselves not only in academic studies, but also in the vibrant cultures and lively professional scenes of these bustling global cities.

Here’s how we work together:
Eligible students complete a 4–6 month, full-time work experience in the spring following their fall Semester In coursework. These experiences are:

Students apply classroom knowledge in areas like:
