In the event that you do not presently possess a valid passport, it is strongly advised to apply for a passport immediately upon deciding to partake in a study abroad program. This is extremely important due to the fact that passport applications may range from several weeks to several months. Therefore, applying for or renewing your passport early is essential to prevent any potential delays in your academic endeavors abroad. Students are responsible for the timely application and acquisition of their visas, as Northeastern and the Global Experience Office are not involved in processing visa applications.
