Hello! I’m a fifth year Mechanical Engineering student and I am wrapping up my undergraduate experience with the Japanese Language and Culture Dialogue! I had the chance to go to Japan in 2012; however, I never had the chance to go to Tokyo. One reason why I wanted to partake in this dialogue was to visit Tokyo and experience its culture since I believe that I have missed out on a part of Japan that is integral to its culture. Additionally, I would like to reconnect with those that I have met during my time in Japan previously. As I have never been in a foreign country for over two weeks, this dialogue will allow me to be fully immersed in the lifestyle of Japan, which I am equally excited and nervous about!
