Field Trips, Museums, Landmarks
The apartment we live in is fairly close to the famous Royal Mile. It is a long tourist-filled street with shops and food. It is definitely the part where I have seen the most amount of people since most of Edinburgh feels very peaceful and not very busy. I love running through there in the afternoon.
We also have a really nice view of Arthur’s Seat on our walk to class everyday which is beautiful. It’s so cool to see the city on one side and the mountain on the other. I hope to hike up there a couple more times before this trip is over!
We had a day trip to Glasgow, another city that is much bigger than Edinburgh. It was about an hour bus ride there. Some of the architecture looked more modern than that of Edinburgh but it was all very similar. We went to see a museum of art and ended up going to a really nice brunch place and a juice cafe.
