A typical weekday…there definitely is no typical day here in Thailand. However, my school days here are pretty standard and comparable to my days at Northeastern…except for the food. Having class four days a week was nice because either on Thursday night or Friday morning we were off traveling elsewhere.
But each day I would wake up and eat breakfast either at the restaurant near my dorm room or on campus. After I would shuttle to campus and make sure I brought everything I needed for the day since my campus was too far to go back and forth. Mondays I had two classes, Tuesday/Thursdays I had one, and Wednesdays I had three. I would usually hang around campus all day with my friends and get work done while I waited for my classes. Also, my friends and I would use our free time to plan trips and make plans for the weekend. Each class was two hours long and one of my Wednesday classes was four (which wasn’t as bad as I initially thought it would be). After my classes were over I would head to the gym on campus before I walked back home for dinner. I had really simple weekdays, but I was okay with that since the weekends were extremely hectic. Some days though we would go into Bangkok, Chinatown, or Little India to get dinner or hang out. And sometimes my Thai buddy would take me to places around Salaya and show me local things. Overall, it was interesting to adapt to a new environment and find a routine in a different country.
Here are some feet pictures of beautiful places!
